We are delighted to invite applications for the post of PA/Senior Administrator to provide administration support of the highest quality to our Directors and assist in the charity’s governance.

The appointment is home based. There will be a requirement to attend office premises, as well as a requirement for attendance over several locations from time to time for specific purposes, as directed.

About the Job

The role will be to provide flexible, proactive and expert level administrative support to our Directors, Board of Trustees Committees and other senior leaders across Alzheimer Scotland, whilst engaging widely with internal and external stakeholders. This means you’ll be interacting closely with colleagues across all teams and get involved with every part of what we do here at Alzheimer Scotland. You will help run busy diaries, deal with correspondence, and support the Directors.

You will assist the Chairs of our sub-committees in their roles and be responsible for the co-ordination, scheduling and organising of these in line with our rules of governance producing high quality minutes and summaries of each meeting.

You will be coordinating and fulfilling a number of day to day requests from two of our Directors (Finance & Policy) making sure that their calendars are managed well and supporting the achievement of their workstreams.

About You

Being a great administrator goes without saying but you will also be a strong communicator with a high level of integrity and someone who exercises tact and diplomacy, delivers to deadlines and takes real pride in the accuracy and quality of your work.

You must be highly organised, have great attention to detail with excellent IT skills and appreciation of the confidential nature of this role.

We are ideally looking for someone who has had previous experience in a role of a similar nature or are highly adaptive and looking for a new challenge.
