Our Asset Management Team needs you!

The Senior Property Officer will ensure the competent delivery of a responsive repairs service and planned and cyclical maintenance programmes, through day to day management of a technically skilled team, ensuring that all property assets are maintained to a high standard to meet customer needs and expectations with due regard to contract specification, health and safety requirements, effective contractor management, compliant procurement procedures, Scottish Housing Quality Standards and all applicable legislative requirements and best practices.

The Senior Property Officer will lead and deliver an effective and efficient Property Service and contribute to the development and implementation of Arks Asset Management Strategy and to deliver key Business Plan objectives.

The role of Senior Property Officer reports directly to the Head of Asset Management (HOAM) and will deputise for the HOAM.

The Senior Property Officer line manages 3 x Maintenance Officers and the Property Administrator.

Asset Management Team and will work collaboratively across the organisation.

  • Meet the Scottish Government ‘s Energy Efficiency Standard in Social Housing part 2
  • Project manage our new build and strategic asset management projects
  • Project manage stage 3 adaptations
  • Provide general admin support to the Asset Management Department
  • Develop, coach and support the team
