New Assistant Opportunity in Linlithgow

Bield have a fantastic opportunity for a part-time Assistant to join our team in Linlithgow. West Port provides a Retirement Housing service to tenants, aged 60 and over, who wish to retain their independence and the right person will help make this possible. You will benefit from daytime work and great work life balance. Additional cleaning tasks such as cleaning vacant flats and or external pathways of the development may be undertaken periodically.

Linlithgow has good public transport links with Bo’ness and surrounding areas. There are opportunities for the successful applicant to assist the manager with tasks within the development and gain appropriate training to cover the office in their absence. Polo shirts/tabards will be provided

At West Port you will be working within a positive and friendly work environment with support from Manager, Area Manager and other local Scheme Managers who help employees achieve their goals.

The successful candidate will undertake a range of cleaning duties to ensure that internal communal areas are clean, hygienic and meet the standards expected by our tenants and visitors to the development.

On occasion, the Assistant will be expected to clean vacant flats and/ or external pathways of the development and provide general and emergency assistance to tenants, as required. In addition you will respond to property emergencies, taking appropriate action when the Manager is off duty and providing cover for the development office as required.

Hours of employment are 16 hours per week, organised as follows:

Monday from 1pm to 5pm and

Tuesday to Friday from 2pm to 5pm.
