ABOUT THE ROLE


Blackwood are on the lookout for a full-time Project Assistant to join our Customer Service Team. Our Project Assistant will support our Director of Customer Service by:


o Providing essential support to projects to achieve project success

o Provide administration for projects that develop new services or improve or enhance our housing and care services.

o To Lead the co-ordination and administration of tender submissions with the support and guidance of operational & corporate teams.


This role will work closely with the Director of Customer Service and the wider team which will require effective diary management, provision of reports, action plans, data or papers for project meetings. The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the ability to update minutes and records and allocate actions from project meetings. Assist the Project manager to identify and highlight problems or risks that could affect the progress of the project. Manage the project plan and action plan, monitor deadlines and report any potential delays.


The Project Assistant will support the Heads of Customer Service and Director of Customer Service in tendering for new and existing care services and to compile reports for the Executive Management Team to enable tender agreement. Assistance will be required for tender submissions for new extended services. The Project Assistant will also maintain a knowledge bank with regard to competitors.

We are not asking for an IT expert, but you will have some existing skills on using IT systems and Microsoft packages, and be able to learn new systems quickly.
