Young carers are young people under 18 whose lives have been affected by a family member who has, a disability, illness, mental health issues or an addiction.
As a young carer support worker, you will support young carers helping them to identify their needs, develop a Young Carer Statement and provide support and information they need to allow them to care with confidence and in good health and are empowered to have a life outside of their caring responsibilities.
Applicants will need to evidence an understanding of the needs and difficulties faced by young carers and the importance of the support provided to them.
This role requires PVG Scheme membership. 21 hours to be worked over 3 days per week Monday to Friday. Interviews are schedule to take place week commencing 19 December 2022.
