A great opportunity within a lovely 28 bed private nursing home in Leith, Edinburgh.
We are looking for a kind, caring person to work in our Nursing home caring for older people who are frail or have dementia.
SVQ2 preferred but not essential and training will be given.
We have been awarded good grades from the Care Inspectorate for all quality themes.
You MUST have at least 1 years’ experience working as a Carer in a Care home, hospital, or home care (please be aware that there is quite a difference from home care to nursing homes, but training will be provided). We have introduced E-Learning training which is also ongoing and encourage staff in all aspects of ongoing education and support.
You should be able to show that you have a passion for working with older people and willing to learn and update your practice skills.
The vacancy is for 33 hours weekly.
Fluency in English
Shift times are: 0800-1400 and 0800-2000
