Community Integrated Care is now recruiting for Advanced Support Workers in Dollar, Clackmannanshire.

We are looking for caring, committed, and motivated individuals to join a new team we are creating that will support four young ladies, who have varying conditions such as learning and physical disabilities, autism, and mental health conditions. They will all live independently in their own flats within the one building. The service will operate flexible shift patterns 24/7.

With a positive, outgoing, and energetic nature, you will provide a highly customised service, respecting the needs and wishes of the people being supported in their own homes.

As an Advanced Support Worker you will be providing direct support, coaching and mentoring to support workers and assisting management with the day to day running of the service delivery. You will have key working duties for two of the people we support which includes liaising with Internal/external partners, Care planning, Risk assessments, coaching and mentoring and any other duties as required.

Ideally you will have experience of supporting people with complex care needs.

Putting the preferences of these young women at the heart of everything you do, you will assist them to become more independent in their new homes. You will be comfortable supporting them with all aspects of daily living, helping with meals and personal care tasks. You will also provide social support and promote independence so that they can become more active and achieve their goals and aspirations.

You will receive all person specific training necessary for this role and a comprehensive company induction, as well as the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge further to enhance a worthwhile and rewarding career in providing complex care. You will also hold an SVQ Level 3 Health and Social Care or be willing to work towards this within an agreed timescale.

Additionally, you will be comfortable using basic IT systems that are required within the role - training can be offered to support this area. You will also have an appropriate Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) required qualification, as determined by your SSSC registration, or a willingness to work towards this.
