Our fabulous #TeamDrumpellier is recruiting now for 2 outgoing and caring individuals who love getting out and about to join them as Support Practitioners. We have up to 35 hour contracts available.


The Role


​​​​​​This is a permanent post which will initially cover long term absence in two of our services located in the Blairhill area of Coatbridge and will involve working in other services across Airdrie, Coatbridge and Bellshill - therefore a good level of flexibility is necessary.


​​​​​​​With a focus on maintaining and promoting independence, you will work in a person-centered way to provide support in all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances. You’ll be enthusiastic and take an active interest in their hobbies which may include days out and to the shops along with attending activities in the community. We'll be looking to you to help identify new opportunities for participation and inclusion for the people we support.

To be a great Support Practitioner, we'll need you have;

  • Great communication skills.

  • Able to think outside the box.
  • Caring attitude and approach.
  • Positive approach to learning.
  • Able to follow guidelines.
  • Confidence in the use of technology.


Shift Patterns


We provide tailored support and shifts are from 8am and the latest finish is 10pm. Dependent upon your offered contract, you will typically work between 2 and 4 days per week.​​​​​​​

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
