Based in Bellshill, our fabulous #TeamNLSLDrumpellier are looking for a motivated and goal focussed individual with great communication skills to join them as a Support Practitioner.


The Role


You’ll be supporting a young man on a 2:1 basis who has a keen interest in farm animals. He enjoys going bowling and swimming, out for drives in his car for a tasty bite to eat and having a dance at one of the local groups. We focus on promoting independence and working in a person-centred way to provide support in all aspects of daily living which includes cooking, maintaining a clean home environment, going shopping and and support them to maintain relationships with their friends and family. You’ll take an active role in the planning and delivery of person-centred care and be supportive and encourage him to express his wishes and views.


About You

​​​​​​​As the person we support has a mobility car it is essential that you hold a full UK driving licence and are comfortable driving their car.

Shift Patterns

Our dedicated team provide we support to a young gentleman Monday to Friday, 1000 until 1500. Shift patterns are subject to change. ​​

​​​​​​​​​​​​​​If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration. We will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.
