We have an exciting opportunity for two outgoing and understanding *male colleagues who have a great sense of humour to join our new services in Airdrie and Coatbridge as â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹â€‹Support Practitioners.


​​​​​​​We recruit on values and transferrable skills, so you don't need experience or qualifications to start your career with us. We have our own Training Academy that'll give you all the skills you'll need, including the opportunity to complete a fully funded SVQ Level 3.


The Role


With a focus on maintaining and promoting independence, you will work in a person-centred way to provide support in all aspects of daily living, including cooking and preparing meals, personal care, administering medication and managing personal finances. You’ll be enthusiastic and take an active interest in their hobbies which include cooking, watching football, gaming, going out and socialising.


We'll be looking for you to support the gentlemen explore new hobbies and interests along with sourcing new opportunities to get involved in their local community.


​​​​​​​For these roles it will be essential you have a full UK driving licence.

To be a great Support Practitioner, we'll need you have;

  • Great communication skills.
  • Able to think outside the box.
  • Caring attitude and approach.
  • Positive approach to learning.
  • Able to follow guidelines.
  • Confidence in the use of technology.


Shift Patterns


We provide tailored support 24 hours, 7 days a week and can include early mornings, afternoons, evenings and Waking Nights. Shift patterns will typically be between 8am until 10pm. There may be a times you will be asked to support with waking night cover and holiday support.​​​​​​​


Our waking night shifts do not form part of your contracted hours, these are paid at your hourly rate with a £20 per night supplement.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.
