Looking for an amazing new job with satisfaction that you'd struggle to find anywhere else? We've got just the opportunity for you!

Our amazing #TeamSchoolPark in Strichen are now on the lookout for new *female colleagues on a part-time 16-30 hours permanent basis. For these opportunities, we will need you to have a full driving licence and access to your own vehicle due to the rural location of our service.

The Role

As a Support Practitioner, no two days are ever the same; you'll be part of a fun, friendly team who supports five individuals with profound learning disabilities and complex needs to live in their shared home.

Your main aim will be supporting the individuals with their day to day needs which include shopping, finances, cooking, appointments, personal care and housework.

All of the individuals enjoy being active being part of their community, so you’ll also find yourself being involved in activities like going for walks, dancing, swimming, baking, makeup, and arts & crafts.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll pay you for your training and give you all the practical skills you'll need. We'll even put you through your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too!

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • A full driving licence and access to your own vehicle (due to the rural location of our service)
  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Confidence to go in the water, as swimming is a regular activity
  • The ability to cook
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns

We have various contracts available, including weekend only contracts. As we’re dedicated to providing the best support possible, shifts patterns usually fall between the hours of 0645-2100 hours. Weekends are worked on a rotational basis and you'll have every second weekend off!

Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!

Have any questions? If you'd like to find out more, please contact Lisa Arnott or Lesley Burnett on 01771 637979.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.
