Our Glasgow and East Dunbartonshire relief pool is growing, so we've now got relief job opportunities across the city. The great thing about our relief contracts is they give you flexibility. You tell us when you're available and we would then try to give you shifts to fit.


Shift Patterns


In the majority of our services we provide dedicated around the clock support 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, so our shift patterns do involve early mornings, evenings, weekends, public holidays, sleepovers and waking nights. 


​​​​​​The Role


As a relief colleague, you will play a pivotal role within our teams, ensuring that we still provide the best care and support possible during times of staff training, holidays and absence. The main purpose of your role will be to support individuals who have a disability and/or additional support needs with all aspects of their daily living, e.g. shopping, finances, cooking, housework and personal care.


With the individuals we support also enjoying various hobbies and interests, you'll also find yourself getting involved in arts & crafts, gardening, going to the cinema, meals out, swimming, discos and going for walks to name a few.


About You

If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration. We will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.
