Are you looking for a rewarding new job where you can make a difference every day? Look no further! Our fantastic #TeamCS in East Dunbartonshire are looking for new colleagues to join them on a full-time, part-time and relief basis. We have various permanent contracts available ranging from 10 to 39 hours per week.

The Role

We'll guarantee you heaps of job satisfaction, no two days are ever the same. You'll play a HUGE part in making a difference in the lives of people living with disabilities and additional support needs in YOUR local community.

Your support will enable the individuals to not only maintain their independence and continue to live in their own home; you’ll also help them to play an active part of their community too.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 5/6) qualification too!

As these opportunities are community based, we are ideally looking for drivers with access to their own vehicle, however, this isn't a deal breaker for the right candidates. We give a mileage rate at 45p per mile for using your own vehicle. All colleagues are also paid the hourly rate for travel time up to 2 hours between shifts.

All we’ll need you to bring is: -

  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Good communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support possible shift patterns currently fall between the hours of 0900-1900 hours, Monday-Friday and will include split shifts. Shift patterns may change dependant on the needs of the individuals that we support.

Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!

Have any questions? If you'd like to find out more, please contact Eleanor Burling-Brown on 07598543386.

Successful candidates will be required to join the Protection of Vulnerable Groups Scheme and be committed to working towards an SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare with the support from our Training Academy.

If you’re successful in joining our team, we will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.

Cornerstone welcomes applications from all sections of the community and actively seeks to increase the diversity of our workforce.
