Looking for a new part-time job with satisfaction that you'd struggle to get anywhere else? You're in luck as we're now on the look out for a new colleague to join our fabulous #TeamParkholme in Lossiemouth on a part-time (20 hours per week) basis.

The Role

You'll become part of a friendly, dedicated, fun team who supports six adults with learning and physical disabilities to live in their own shared home. The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same.

Your main aim will be supporting each individual with their day to day needs, including shopping, finances, cooking, housework, personal care and medication. You'll also support the individuals with their hobbies and interests too, including music, films, in-house activities, baking and arts & crafts.

As all of the individuals love to get out and be part of their local community too, you’ll also find yourself getting involved in activities like swimming, ten pin bowling and horse riding, meals out and going for walks.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll pay you for your training and we'll even fund your SVQ (SCQF level 6/7) qualification too!

What we need you to bring: -

  • A caring and compassionate attitude and approach
  • The ability to work well in a team and on your own initiative
  • Great communication skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • Confidence in the use of computers

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing the best support, tailored to the needs of each individual shift patterns usually fall within the hours of 0730-2200 hours and will include weekend and public holiday working on a rotational basis.

Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!
