Support Practitioner - Loudoun (driver / *female)

The Role

The great thing about this job is that no two days are ever the same. Our team supports two mature ladies who are young at heart and enjoy a variety of activities including going on holiday once a year. We are looking for people who'll be enthusiastic about participating and supporting with hobbies and interests including listening to music, attending discos (both ladies like to be wheeled round the dance floor), going to the theatre and cinema along with a bit of shopping. The ladies both have their own cars and enjoy going out for drives so for this position it is essential that you hold a full UK manual driving licence.

As a Support Practitioner, you'll assist with all aspects of daily living, including meal planning, cooking, housework, support to appointments, administrating medication and full personal care. Both the ladies use wheelchairs so there will be aspects of moving and handling along with use of tracking hoists. You will also support one of the ladies to eat during mealtimes.

About You

All we'll need you to bring is;

• Confidence in the use of technology.
• Full manual driving licence (minimum of 1 years’ experience)

Shift Pattern

As we're dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of the ladies, shifts usually fall into patterns of 0830 - 2100 hours or 1200 - 2100 hours, 7 days a week and include sleepovers which are paid on top of your hours at £80 per shift.
