We're recruiting in North Ayrshire for patient, outgoing and enthusiastic *male colleagues to join our team on a part-time (16-30 hours per week) basis. For these vacancies we will need you to hold a full manual driving licence as the individual that you'll support loves getting out and about in their car.
The Role
You'll become part of a friendly, fun team that supports a young man who has Autism to live in his own home. Your main aim will be supporting him with his day to day needs which involves shopping, finances, cooking, housework and medication. As this young man enjoys being active and getting out and about in his local community, we'll also need you to be enthusiastic and creative in supporting him with his hobbies and interests which include swimming, walking, arts & crafts and drives in his car.
All we'll need you to bring is;
- A full UK, manual driving licence
- Great communication skills
- A caring attitude and approach
- Confidence to go in the water as swimming is a regular activity
- The ability to cook
- A positive approach to learning
- Confidence in the use of computers
Shift Patterns
Our fabulous team provide support 7 days a week and shift patterns typically fall into patterns of 9am-5pm, 12pm-9pm, 10am-4pm and will include weekend working on a rotational basis and public holidays.

If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration. We will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.
