​​​​​​​We're now on the look out for understanding and motivated individuals who really want to make a difference to the lives of others to join our busy Community Support team covering the Motherwell and Wishaw areas. We have various contracts available.


The Role

You will be joining a small, dedicated team of Support Practitioners providing support to different individuals with a variety of support needs, including autism, dementia, lifelong health conditions, mental illness and addiction.


​​​​​​​As a Support Practitioner, you'll support these individuals with all aspects of daily living, including cooking, personal care, managing personal finances and assisting with medication. You will also support the with their hobbies and interests, including music, swimming, attending the gym and other outdoor activities.

About You

We are looking for people with a real passion to build relationships and positively impact the lives of the people we support. So, whilst it would be great if you have experience in a similar role, this is not essential. What’s most important to us is that you can demonstrate the right values and attitude to make a difference. We'll pay you for your training and we'll even fund your SVQ qualification too!

As travel will be required, it is essential that you hold a full, clean driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.


To be a great Support Practitioner, you will be:

Shift Pattern

Your normal hours of work will be between 0800-2100 hours, Monday to Sunday, and will be a mix of split shifts, shorter shifts and longer blocks of support. Will will need you to work early mornings, evenings, weekends, sleepovers and public holidays as part of your rota.


We offer a generous mileage rate of 45 pence per mile for colleagues using their own transport. All colleagues are paid their hourly rate for travel time up to two hours between shifts.

​​​​​​​If you’re successful in joining our team, you will be expected to join the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme and must be willing to work towards a SVQ in Social Services and Healthcare as required for SSSC registration. We will need you to register with the SSSC within 6 months of starting your employment with us.
