Start 2022 with a rewarding job where you can make a real difference?

We're on the lookout for enthusiastic, active and person-centred colleagues to join our amazing #TeamBerrybank in #Maud on a permanent basis. We have up to 30 hours per week contracts available including relief opportunities.

The current salary is £9.50 per hour, with a pay award pending of £10.02 per hour and will be backdated to 1st December 2021.

The Role

You'll become part of fun and friendly team who supports six individuals, all with different support needs to live in their own homes.

The great thing about this job is no two days are ever the same! Your main aim will be to support the individuals with all aspects of daily living, including shopping, housework, finances, medication and personal care.

All of the individuals are very active and love to get out and about, so you’ll also find yourself being involved in activities like going for walks, riding adapted bikes, swimming, baking and arts & crafts. Some of the individuals we support have their own mobility cars to get out and about so we'd need you to have a full manual, UK driving licence with at least one year of experience on the road.

About You

You don't need experience to start your career with us; we recruit on values and we'll give you all the training you'll need if you're successful. We'll even put you through your SVQ qualification too!

All we’ll need you to bring is;

  • A full driving licence
  • A caring and compassionate attitude
  • The ability to work well in a team
  • Great communication and organisational skills
  • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn
  • A creative drive to improve the lives of the individuals you support
  • Confidence to go in the water, as swimming is a regular activity
  • Confidence in the use of technology

Shift Patterns

As we're dedicated to providing around the clock support tailored to the needs of each individual, shifts patterns do include early mornings, days, evenings, sleepovers, weekends and public holidays. Sleepovers are not included in your contracted hours and you’ll receive an additional sleepover payment of between £76.00 to £95.00 per night, depending on the needs of the service.

Sound interesting? What are you waiting for? Apply today, we can't wait to hear from you!
