Crossroads Caring Scotland provides care and support to enable people to remain in their own home. Established as a charity in Scotland in 1978, we have services across Scotland and pride ourselves in the support we provide each other as a team and our not-for-profit ethos.

Katie is a very sociable friendly person who communicates non verbally but is very able at showing you what she needs and likes.

Katie loves animals, music, getting her nails done and the outdoors. Katie uses a wheelchair when outside and has a mobility car so someone who can drive is important so she can attend medical or dental appointments and of course go for coffee and cake.

You would be expected to participate in a sleepover once per week which could include weekend cover and assisting Katie with personal care and all aspects of her daily living to maintain her home environment.

If you are caring and compassionate with a variety of life skills and experience and enjoy working directly with people, then this could be a great opportunity to join our highly respected team to support Katie to live her best life.

Experience is preferred but not essential as basic and enhanced training is provided, as well as opportunities to work towards vocational qualifications.

Successful candidates will be required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme for Adults/Children.

An application pack and further information on Katie is available on our website www.crossroads-scotland.co.uk/careers or by emailing recruitment@crossroads-scotland.co.uk.

Crossroads Caring Scotland is an equal opportunities employer.
