Could you be our Net-Zero hero?

Sustainability Co-ordinator

The Eildon Group has built a strong reputation and risen to a position as one of Scotland’s leading Housing Associations. At the heart of our service is a deep commitment to excellence and the provision of high quality, affordable homes, care and support services for the individuals and communities we serve.

Eildon are committed to eliminating fuel poverty whilst trying to ensure a just transition as we decarbonise our homes. The purpose of this role is to develop and implement a strategy to achieve our net-zero ambitions, access any applicable funding, and work with finance colleagues to provide prudent financial planning. Developing relationships with a range of existing stakeholders will be critical.

You will work with asset management and maintenance colleagues to provide a detailed plan on how we decarbonise our existing stock-base, development colleagues to increase the number of new net-zero homes we construct and all other colleagues to progress our ambition to be a Green Organisation in all our operations.

You should be a graduate, preferably with experience of working in social housing or a similar role, or have relevant academic, or research experience in a related field.

With personal integrity and credibility as well as excellent communication and IT skills, you must be able to collaborate with all stakeholders to develop productive working relationships.

As our values are incredibly important to us you will need to have a strong value base and ambition to decarbonise our assets and services to make positive and significant improvements to the lives of our customers.

During your first year with us we will support you to complete a Leadership Development programme (World of Housing GEMS), which leads to a Chartered Institute of Housing (CIH) Level 4 qualification as well as providing you with an amazing opportunity to network with a wide range of housing professionals across the country, see documents below for more information.

In return for your expertise Eildon offer an excellent benefits package, including a contributory pension scheme and flexible working options.
