ENABLE Glasgow is a community based charity working with adults with learning disabilities and their carers and families in Glasgow. We are currently recruiting to enhance our excellent staff team at our Esmond Street Advanced Support Service in the Yorkhill area of the city. Esmond Street provides a high quality 24/7 supported living service to 22 adults with learning disabilities who are older and/or have enhanced needs.

You will receive regular and comprehensive training to give you the tools to do your job and will be supported by a committed management team.

The successful candidate will oversee the planning of weekly/fortnightly menus in conjunction with service users, ensuring that all nutritional needs and dietary requirements are catered for. Your role will also involve organising the kitchen in terms of order, food hygiene and health and safety. REHIS Food Hygiene Training or equivalent is preferred for this role. Knowledge of Cook Safe, infection control as well as catering experience are also integral to the job role.
