NORTH LANARKSHIRE RESPONDER SERVICE

FULL TIME AND PART TIME PERMANENT CONTRACTS

DRIVING LICENCE AND OWN CAR INSURED FOR BUSINESS USE REQUIRED - PAID MILEAGE AT 45p PER MILE

SHIFTS ARE 8AM-4PM OR 4PM-10PM ACROSS A 7 DAYS PER WEEK ROTA 

ENABLE Scotland have an exciting new service starting in the Lanarkshire area. We are building a committed, dedicated team of Personal Assistants (Support Workers) to make a positive difference every day to the lives of the people we support. No two days are the same for our Personal Assistants but what we can guarantee is that you will be supporting people to achieve their goals and outcomes – whatever they may be!

Each person we support may have different conditions, including but not limited to, brain injury, dementia, stroke, physical disability and learning disability. Your role as responder Personal Assistant will be to travel between the homes of the people we support to assist them with some or all of following:

  • Personal care, meal preparation and domestic support within the home
  • Administering medication
  • Respite for family in the home
  • Providing social opportunities for the person to get out and about
  • Providing reassurance and safety at all times

Our responder team of Personal Assistants will work collaboratively to ensure the safety, wellbeing and aspirations of the people we support are met.
