Support Worker

Location: Broadmeadows, Symington, South Ayrshire Area and Taigh Mor, Beith

Salary: £9.50 per hour + Benefits.

Contract: Full-time and Part-time positions available.

We are actively recruiting for Support Worker roles, to work in our Supported Living, Residential, Community and Respite services.

Hansel is a leading Social Care provider working for people with additional needs across Ayrshire. We provide a range of personalised support choices to over 600 people each year and currently we are recruiting for a number of Support Worker posts in a range of our social care services throughout north and south Ayrshire. This offers a perfect opportunity for experienced Support Workers looking to take on a new challenge.

A driving license is essential for some of our roles along with the flexibility to work a rota which includes evenings, nights, sleepovers and weekends. For some of our vacancies we do require experience - full details are available on our website.

The following criteria is desirable but not essential:

• Experience of supporting people with complex health, mobility and communication support needs

• Experience of managing challenging behaviours

• The ability to attain registration with regulatory bodies

• An SVQ 3 in Health and Social Care
