Role

Inclusion Alliance is a small not for profit organisation person-centred community-based daytime service supporting adults with high support needs to lead ordinary lives in their communities. Inclusion Alliance was created by families who wished for alternative community-based support compared with historical models of care and has been established for over 20 years.

We are seeking an enthusiastic person to join our team to work with 2 people providing one-to-one support. Monday and Tuesday would involve working with one person and Wednesday and Thursday would involve working with a second person.

We are looking for a person to provide one-to-one support for two gentlemen with learning difficulties to help be included in ordinary life. You would work would include helping the men to access social, leisure and volunteering opportunities in the community.

The person who requires support on a Wednesday and Thursday has his own car and enjoys visiting a variety of places therefore a car driver with the relevant licence and experience is required for the role.

Candidates must have excellent communication skills and be committed to working in a person centred way ensuring that support is built around this person’s wishes and needs. No experience or formal qualifications are necessary as full training and development will be provided.

Monday- 9am-4pm

Tuesday- 9am-4pm

Wednesday 9.30am-4pm

Thursday- 9.30am-4pm

Additional hours may potentially be available in a relief capacity to cover annual leave and other absences.
