Kingdom Support and Care (KSC) supports over 300 people throughout East Central Scotland including Fife, Forth Valley and surrounding areas providing high quality and personalised support and care designed to meet individual needs and desired outcomes. We provide support to people with a range of needs in their own homes, including those with: learning disability, autistic spectrum disorder, complex needs, mental health issues, age related needs, homelessness, drug and alcohol addictions.

Our aim is to support people to have a safe and secure home, to live as independently as possible in their own home, to live as full a life as possible and to be part of their local community. We provide flexible, responsive and person centred support which assists people to live their lives as they wish and to enable them to meet their desired outcomes.

About the Role

The Positive Behaviour Support Team works alongside individuals and staff teams to build confidence, address challenges and develop support plans which assist in reducing the level of challenge and enhance quality of life for people .

An opportunity has arisen to join this team. The role will involve providing direct input to services to develop, implement and monitor a range of support plans, including but not limited to positive behaviour support plans and wellness plans for supported individuals. The role requires the delivery of training both in a classroom setting and in services to both staff and supported individuals.

The role will involve working with many different people, teams and organisations both internally and externally.

About You

You will be confident and able to engage with people from many different backgrounds. A creative and problem solving approach is required to achieve the best outcomes within this role. It is essential to show a high level of knowledge, skills, and practical ability within positive behaviour support

You will have a solutions focused approach to your work as well as interacting with others. A positive and enthusiastic outlook. Excellent people skills will be key to your success in this diverse role.

You must be able to be flexible in your approach to work as some evening, weekend and shift working will be required.

If you have experience in a support and care setting and hold a relevant qualification in Care or a related field in line with the SSSC registration criteria this could be an opportunity for you.
