About Us

Kingdom Support and Care CIC (KSC) is a Community Interest Company, a private company limited by shares and a wholly owned subsidiary of Kingdom Housing Association (KHA). We are an accredited Gold in Investors in People and a Living Wage Scotland employer.

KSC supports over 300 people throughout Fife and Falkirk, providing high quality and personalised support and care designed to meet individual needs and desired outcomes.

We provide support to people with a range of needs in their own homes, including those with: learning disability, autistic spectrum disorder (ASD), complex needs, mental health issues, age related needs, homelessness, drug and alcohol addictions.

The support and care provided by KSC is flexible, responsive and person centered support which assists people to live their lives as they wish and to enable them to meet their desired outcomes.

About the Role

In this role, you will be an integral member of the support team contributing to and ensuring the high quality of care and support for individuals within the Falkirk Service.

Within the Falkirk Service we provide support to a range of individuals who live either in their own homes and / or with family. The individuals we support have a varying degree of needs which means each working day can be different.

The needs of some of the people we support can include but is not limited to; support with learning disabilities, mental health conditions, Autistic Spectrum Conditions or a combination of these. Whilst the role can be challenging due to these complex needs, it offers excellent job satisfaction due to the value of the support you provide. Our role is to support and develop these individuals to allow them to live as independently as possible within the community.

The service and support we provide is person-centred support which is co-produced with the individuals ensuring their needs, choices, goals and aspirations are valued. The staff base operates from the Redding area, where we also support individuals in Camelon and Grangemouth.

About You

We are looking for upbeat, confident and energetic individuals who have the desire, drive and motivation to support people to live their best life. You will have a good work ethic with sound professional values as well as being open minded and creative.

You will provide direct support helping people manage their day to day living as well as support individuals to participate in activities; energy and initiative is vital in keeping up with the fast paced living of the individuals we support.


Your role will include enabling people to feel empowered therefore it is essential you have good communication skills and professional values.


The service provides 24/7 support therefore you are required to be flexible in your approach to work. There is a need for staff to be able to work all shift patterns consisting of days, nights and backshifts. We can also offer flexible working patterns, which can be discussed during the application process if you have other commitments. For those that cannot commit to set working hours, we offer bank contracts. We aim to issue rotas in a timely manner to allow work / life balance.

Requirements

  • A current driving licence, business insurance and the use of a car for work purposes are desirable however not essential for this role.
