At any one time across our fantastic projects, we are supporting up to 1,500 individuals, their families and communities helping them to live better lives.
Our Southside Dementia Services are situated over two sites (McNeil and Moffat Street Projects) in the Gorbals area of Glasgow. The projects are specialised residential care homes which provides eight places in both sites for older people who have dementia.
We are looking to recruit a Dementia Care Worker to be based within our McNeil Street Project, who is enthusiastic and motivated to join our busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering high-quality person-centred support plans, contributing to positive outcomes for the individuals we support, whilst promoting therapeutic and recreational activities. You must be willing to undertake regular shift work as required.
The working pattern will be working 5 over 7 including weekend work.
If successful but unqualified, you will have to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory requirements but don’t worry we will support you with this.
