The Mungo Foundation is a well-established charitable organisation, with over 40 years of experience supporting vulnerable individuals across Scotland. We employ over 700 staff, supporting approximately 1500 people a year, across a diverse array of services. Our services are tailored to the needs of each individual we work with and together we work hard to improve their quality of life.

Our Annandale Street Project is a specialised residential care home service based in the Govanhill area of Glasgow, which provides a care home service for eight older people who are experiencing mental health problems.

We are looking to recruit a number of Older People's Mental Health Workers (Relief) who are motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to effectively ensure they deliver safe, compassionate and high-quality care and support. You should be confident and have the ability to compile and implement support plans.

In order to meet the individual support needs of the people who use the service, the ability to undertake regular shift work, including evenings and weekends, is essential.

Qualifications or experience are not essential. We offer excellent support, training and a salary of £9.50 per hour (under review).

If successful and unqualified, you must be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.
