We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a Payroll Administrator to join our exciting organisation to utilise your experience in payroll systems, payroll data and manipulating within Excel at an advanced level and/or from Business Objects. You should have the ability to work under pressure to meet deadlines and demonstrate good communication skills and attention to detail.

Your key duties will include:

- To collate and review payroll data for accuracy for onward submission to outsourced payroll provider to ensure an accurate monthly pay run.

- To process payroll changes on payroll system to ensure timely and accurate salary payments are made to staff and to prevent overpayments and/or underpayments.

- To work in conjunction with Payroll Manager to analyse Draft and Final reports from outsourced payroll provider for accuracy and compliance.

- Submissions of relevant data to third parties such as HMRC, ONS, Pensions, etc.

- Resolving payroll queries in a customer focussed manner.

Skills Required:

- Up to date payroll legislation knowledge fully conversant with PAYE/RTI/NIC

- Pension and auto enrolment experience

- Able to work collaboratively with payroll provider and internal colleagues

- Problem-solving with the ability to multi-task

- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written

- Highly advanced Excel skills

- Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines

- Awareness of and adherence to GDPR regulations

- Self-motivated, able to work on own initiative as well as you can work as part of a team.

- Able to prioritise and organise workload to work effectively in a busy team
