Project Manager – De Paul House - Govan

The Mungo Foundation is a well-established charitable organisation, with over 40 years of experience supporting vulnerable individuals across Scotland. We employ over 700 staff, supporting approximately 1500 people a year, across a diverse array of services. Our services are tailored to the needs of each individual we work with and together we work hard to improve their quality of life.

Our De Paul House Project based in the Govan area of Glasgow provides accommodation and support for nine young people (16 – 25 years), who are homeless. This service supports young people to consider their lifestyles and options to make positive changes and steps towards independent living.

We are looking to recruit a Project Manager who is motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to effectively manage the team ensuring the delivery of high-quality care and support through person centred, outcome focussed planning.

The successful candidate must be able to function dynamically, lead and manage effectively to the highest possible standards. They must have excellent organisational, communication and written skills as well as a high level of interpersonal skills with the ability to engage at all levels. They will be responsible for managing all aspects of the service including financial, HR and contractual matters.

The successful candidate must have a relevant health or social care qualification and have or be able to attain a relevant managerial qualification to enable registration with Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC). They will also be required to evidence leadership skills within their recent employment. They will be required to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service and will be required to participate in an on-call system for which there is an additional payment.

If you are looking for a new challenge, this may be the position for you.

We value our staff very highly. Alongside competitive terms and conditions we also offer membership of an employee benefits scheme, credit union and workplace pension plus numerous training and development opportunities, including SVQ registration level qualifications.

To apply please complete an online application form which can be found on our website www.themungofoundation.org.uk under Join our Team, then Work with Us, then under the relevant vacancy click on the Apply button.

Appointments are made subject to satisfactory membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme, SSSC registration and appropriate safer recruitment checks.
