The Mungo Foundation is a well-established charitable organisation, with over 40 years of experience supporting vulnerable individuals across Scotland. We employ over 700 staff, supporting approximately 1500 people a year, across a diverse array of services. Our services are tailored to the needs of each individual we work with and together we work hard to improve their quality of life.

Our Lanark Service is a registered care home, supporting adults with learning and physical disabilities and other associated support needs. The service consists of two houses situated in the town which are a mile or so from each other.

We are looking to recruit a Project Worker to join our team within our Lanark Service.

You will be required to work as part of the team providing safe, compassionate and high-quality care and you should be confident and have the ability to implement care plans and risk assessments. You will also assist with personal care and administering medication where necessary.

You will be responsible for the well-being and safety of the service users throughout your shift in lien with Service and Organisational policies, procedures and protocols. You will be involved in promoting independence and choice ensuring that personal outcomes are achieved.

You should possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and have the ability to work on your own and as part of the wider care team.

Shifts may include evenings and weekends as part of a flexible provision in order to meet outcomes led support.

Qualifications or experience are not essential. We offer excellent support, training and a salary of £9.50 per hour (under review).

If you are successful and unqualified, you must be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.
