The Mungo Foundation is a well-established charitable organisation, with over 40 years of experience supporting vulnerable individuals across Scotland. We employ over 700 staff, supporting approximately 1500 people a year, across a diverse array of services. Our services are tailored to the needs of each individual we work with and together we work hard to improve their quality of life.

Our Advice, Support & Information for Sustaining Tenancies (A.S.I.S.T.) Project is based in the Bridgeton area of Glasgow. The service provides homelessness support to individuals across Glasgow City.

The A.S.I.S.T. Project offers flexible, intensive support to young people, aged 16-25 years old, who are care experienced or homeless. A.S.I.S.T. offers specific support to young people to maintain or access appropriate accommodation and transition into independent living. The project provides housing, social, emotional and practical support. The staff teamwork with young people to identify their individual outcomes and supports them to build their confidence and to make positive decisions about their future.

We are looking to recruit a Project Worker to join our busy team who is motivated and enthusiastic with the ability to effectively ensure they deliver safe, compassionate and high-quality care and support.

The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering high-quality person-centred support plans which contribute to positive outcomes for the individuals that we support.

Qualifications or experience are not essential. We offer excellent support, training and a salary of £10.02 per hour.

If successful and unqualified, you must be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.
