The Mungo Foundation is well-established charitable organisation, with over 40 years of experience supporting vulnerable individuals across Scotland. We employ over 700 staff, supporting approximately 1500 people a year, across a diverse array of services. Our services are tailored to the needs of each individual we work with and together we work hard to improve their quality of life.

Our West End Project is based in the Castlehill area of Dumbarton. The service offers day/evening opportunities and an outreach service for adults with varying degrees of physical disabilities, who are experiencing social isolation.

The project aims to empower individuals to make decisions, increase their independence, develop social networks and enhance their quality of life. As such, the staff team-work flexible hours to meet the individual support needs of the people who use the service.

We are looking to recruit a Team Leader who will be responsible for ensuring a high-quality person-centred service is delivered and that your staff team are trained and supported to carry out their roles to the highest ability and standards. You will be competent and confident in your own abilities and have the capability to effectively manage a number of employees. Strong leadership skills are essential as is the ability to communicate effectively across all levels and with various external professionals.

Shift work including evenings and weekends is a requirement of the post. Previous working experience with the client group is preferred and previous supervisory experience is desirable.

If successful and unqualified, you must be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.

If you are looking for a new and rewarding challenge, this may be the ideal opportunity for you.

We value our staff very highly. Alongside competitive terms and conditions we also offer membership of an employee benefits scheme, a credit union and a workplace pension, plus numerous training and development opportunities, including SVQ registration level qualifications.
