The Mungo Foundation is a well-established charitable organisation, with over 40 years of experience supporting vulnerable individuals across Scotland. We employ over 700 staff, supporting approximately 1500 people a year, across a diverse array of services. Our services are tailored to the needs of each individual we work with and together we work hard to improve their quality of life.

Our De Paul House Project based in the Govan area of Glasgow provides accommodation and support for nine young people (16 – 25 years), who are homeless. This service supports young people to consider their lifestyles and options to make positive changes and steps towards independent living.

We are looking to recruit a Temporary Project Worker to cover a period of maternity leave for approximately one year who is enthusiastic and motivated to join our busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for co-ordinating and delivering high-quality person-centred support plans, contributing to positive outcomes for the individuals we support, whilst promoting therapeutic and recreational activities. You must be willing to undertake regular shift work and sleepovers are included and are a requirement of the post.

Qualifications or experience are not essential. We offer excellent support, training and a salary of £10.70 per hour.

The successful candidates, if unqualified, must be willing to work towards a suitable qualification for a post at this level, in line with the SSSC Regulatory Requirements.
