We are looking for Home Care Assistants to support our clients within their homes. This will involve supporting the client to maintain their safety, assist with the promotion of daily living skills and support with social inclusion.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE

You should possess or be capable of developing the following range of knowledge, skills and experience and demonstrate a genuine desire to care.

  • Qualification on Health or Social Care ( SVQ2 or above) preferred, but not essential as support to achieve will be provided.
  • Previous experience preferred in a Health or Social Care setting, but not essential.
  • Good communication.
  • Pro-active in enabling person centered goals.
  • An understanding of disability and their effects on people’s daily living.
  • Evidence of personal development
