Registered Nurse (Complex Care at Home)

Phoenix Therapy and Care provides bespoke home-based support services to children and adults affected by illness, injury and disability. Our current Care Inspectorate rating is 'very good’ and we pride ourselves on person-centred, empowering and positive values.

Our Service User is an intelligent young woman who became paralysed after a brief illness in 2008. She lives at home in Kinghorn with her Mum, who is involved in all aspects of her care. She loves pop music, enjoys shopping, going to concerts and watching TV. She requires 24 hour care and is ventilator dependent.

We are looking for a part-time Registered Nurse who has the ability to adapt to this unique working environment. Are you compassionate, patient, friendly and empathetic? Are you the kind of person who wants to add real value to someone’s life? Do you have excellent communication skills, tact and diplomacy? If this sounds like you, we can offer you an interesting opportunity. You will join an established team, attending to our Service User's daily care, administering medications and facilitating excursions. Ventilator experience is not necessary as we have a robust training and supervision programme. Current NMC registration is essential.
