Potters Healthcare is a local family run company that provides care at home services and community support around Falkirk, Stirling and Clackmannanshire. The company prides itself on the quality of care that we provide and the dedication we have to our clients. Services are both private and commissioned from the local authorities.

We are looking for a dedicated Care Manager to oversee our branch in Stirling. This is a full-time position of 37.5 Hours per week, with on call responsibilities. An exciting opportunity for an ambitious manager to develop the business further and to support our staff team. The Care Manager directly reports to the Registered Manager.


We are looking for enthusiastic full-time applicants with

• a proven track record of good leadership and at least 2 years’ experience in a similar role.

• a SVQ Level 4 in Health and Social Care (Adults) with Leadership and Management or working towards one is desirable

• Conduct regular reviews with Clients to ensure that their Care Plan is meeting their needs and update as required

• the ability to build good working relationships.

• strong organisation and planning skills

• A valid UK driver licence and access to a car

Main responsibilities will Include;

• Business Development

• Staff Recruitment

• Selection and Retention of Staff

• Staff Training

• Supervision and Appraisal

• Care Inspectorate Compliance

• Assessments/reviews for New and existing Service Users

• Maintain Care Plans

• Fostering and maintaining relationships with external agencies/partners

• Contribute to the overall strategic direction of Potters Health Care


Successful applicants will be required, complete a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) application and also register with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) within 6 months of starting.
