Health Care Support Worker

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Health Care Support Worker with QME Care based in Queens & Murray House, a specialist purpose built dementia care unit and residential setting in the Kelso, Scottish Borders. As we continue to develop our unique caring model we are looking for dedicated and caring individuals to join our growing team.

36 hours per week night - Night Shift

A genuine passion for working with older people, dementia, cognitive condition and high quality care are essential for this compassionate role.

Under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse and Senior Health Care Support Workers you will attend to the daily care needs (including their personal care needs) to our older residents who experience conditions such as dementia, physical health conditions including end of life caring.

We follow a person centred approach to support our residents to be the director of their care. We have high staffing ratios and employee benefits that cannot be matched elsewhere.

All our roles work a rolling flexible rota system over a 7 day a week period.

. We offer full training and SVQ Level 3

. 6 weeks holiday, increasing to 7 weeks after 5 years service
