Countryview offers a range of services to children and young people with a disability and their carers.

For children and young people with a disability:

• The opportunity to grow and develop

• The chance to become more independent and make your own decisions about how you spend your time

• Time to try new activities and experiences

• The opportunity to meet new friends and share some time with them

• A place to relax and have fun

• The opportunity to make positive links with your community

For their family and carers:

• Knowing that your loved one is being cared for while you take a well-deserved break

• Opportunities to spend quality time with other children

Countryview is a non-commissioned service and therefore able to accept referrals from any Local Authority or families who have self-directed support funding. The majority of children and young people who use Countryview come from Central and Western Scotland.

Every child’s family is different, and therefore how a child begins short breaks is tailored to their needs. An introduction, or a few hours to familiarise the child with our service, can be arranged before overnight visits begin.

Are you passionate about making a difference to the lives of children and young people with disabilities? Would you like to join an energetic, enthusiastic and experienced staff team? Then we would like to hear from you! We are looking for 6 relief Project Workers to join our team.

The role of Relief Project Worker offers flexibility and the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of the children and young people we support.

Full details of this role can be viewed on the attached Job Role Profile.

Please note that IT skills are required for all Quarriers vacancies.

For more information about this role please contact Sandra Semple on 07812 228449 / 01505 16020.
