Here at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland we are currently looking to recruit Support Practitioners for our Lanark and Carluke services.

Due to the nature of the service we can only accept applications from candidates who have a valid UK driving licence and access to their own vehicles.

No previous experience in the care sector is necessary to apply as our Support Practitioners are fully trained by our excellent and award-winning learning & development team prior to starting. This initially consists of three classroom-based sessions as well as the opportunity to shadow current Support Practitioners in their day-to-day role. After this initial training there will always be opportunities to further your learning during your time with TRFS.

We can offer either Full-Time (32-39 hours), Part-Time (16-30 hours) or Bank (Ad Hoc) contracts depending on our requirements at the time. As a Support Practitioner you could be expected to work weekends, shift patterns and sleepovers if required.

There are a range of benefits to working with TRFS which include:

-Paid travel between services (depending on service requirements).

-We will pay for you to achieve your SVQ Level 2 and support you to do so.

-TRFS rewards scheme (which includes cash-back and discounts at a variety of high street and online retailers)

-Continuous in-house training opportunities and chances to further your career in social care.

-Refer a Friend scheme- £150 reward for successfully referring a friend, family member or colleague.

-Free Membership of Glasgow Credit Union.

-HSF Health Care plan.

-Counselling & Life Works service.

On top of these excellent practical benefits the biggest benefit of all is the immense job satisfaction you will gain by making a positive difference in someone`s life.

All successful applicants will be given a conditional offer- this is subject to the receipt of satisfactory references, PVG and a Covid-19 related risk assessment.

Closing Date: 12th November 2021. (We reserve the right to close this vacancy at any time)
