Would you like a fantastic new career in Health and Social Care? Why not start your day hoping to make a difference and end your day knowing you did!
Here at The Richmond Fellowship Scotland, we make a real difference in supporting people to enjoy, achieve and have fun in their everyday lives.
Our Badenoch and Strathspey service provides a mix of 24-hour support and daytime outreach support to a large number of clients in the Aviemore region.
Due to growth, we are looking to recruit additional full time or part-time staff members to become an integral part of this large team-based service.
We provide support to a broad range of clients, including individuals with Learning Disability, Mental Health issues and both low and high functioning Autism Spectrum Disorder. All of the people we support within this team enjoy independent living in their own homes, or as part of the larger Aviemore Cluster Service.
The teams currently working in these services are long-serving, experienced and very supportive of each other. If you are fit and healthy, with a GOOD SENSE OF FUN and a wide range of personal interests, this could be the opportunity for you!
Although we always value social care experience, it is not essential for these positions as we have an experienced and committed management team in place to support and develop your skills, alongside our comprehensive training programme.
Not only will you get a rewarding career in social care by helping the people you support, you can also enjoy some of the great benefits we offer:
- Enhanced pension contributions
- Generous annual leave
- Paid Mileage
- TRFS rewards scheme
Each person we support is unique so each support role will be different to the next, giving you the chance to really make a difference in that individuals life.
What matters most is that you have the right values and the right attitude.
Please apply below and let The Richmond Fellowship Scotland work with you to progress your career and help provide the best possible care and support to the individuals we support.
Closing Date: 3rd June 2022 (We reserve the right to close this vacancy at any time)
PVG checks will be required of all successful applicants; having a conviction will not necessarily debar you from working in this sector.
As part of our compliance checks, all candidates will be asked, if successful, to undergo a risk assessment based on underlying conditions due to Covid-19.
All new staff members will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of their start date.
Please note that Care workers have been absolutely critical to our pandemic response, giving vulnerable people the care they need and avoiding further pressure falling on the NHS. Therefore, the Scottish Government are funding both SSSC registration and PVG checks for any new staff joining the social care workforce till 25.06.2022.
