Would you like a fantastic new career in health and social care? Why not start your day hoping to make a difference and end your day knowing you did?

We have an exciting opportunity to support individuals who love life, getting out and about in their local community and spending time with family, friends and staff. This could involve attending musical shows and concerts, taking them swimming or to Rebound, going for a leisurely drive and a cuppa around Tayside beauty spots or a shopping trip to B&M`s. Attending the local church and fundraising is important as is chilling out in the sensory room, conservatory or garden in good weather. Each person we support is unique so each support role will be different to the next, giving you the chance to really make a difference in that individuals life.

The role will involve practical support with daily living, personal care and moving and handling. You must have a full manual driving licence as you will be required to drive supported individuals mobility cars.

We have Full time, Part time and Bank hours to help suit everyone.

Previous experience is great but a full training program is offered to everyone who joins The Richmond Fellowship Scotland, so even if this is a new career path for you, we would love to meet you.

There are a range of benefits to working with TRFS which include:

Closing Date: 10th June 2022 (We reserve the right to close this vacancy at any time)

PVG checks will be required of all successful applicants; having a conviction will not necessarily debar you from working in this sector.

As part of our compliance checks, all candidates will be asked, if successful, to undergo a risk assessment based on underlying conditions due to Covid-19.

All new staff members will be required to register with the SSSC within 6 months of their start date.

Please note that Care workers have been absolutely critical to our pandemic response, giving vulnerable people the care they need and avoiding further pressure falling on the NHS. Therefore, the Scottish Government are funding both SSSC registration and PVG checks for any new staff joining the social care workforce till 25.06.2022.
