With over a decade of experience, at Roar – Connections for Life, our highly experienced team works with hundreds of older adults across Renfrewshire. Understanding the problems of loneliness, social isolation and falls prevention in old age has led us to success, both in working across the generations and providing that crucial one to one support. We offer a wide range of services to help with a myriad of aging issues.

A key element of our strategy at Roar is to enable older people who are at risk of frailty, health damaging loneliness and avoidable falls to maintain their independence whilst having the opportunity to meet in their communities and enjoy health and wellbeing activities within a supportive and enabling environment.

Roar require an appropriately experienced Project Worker to undertake home assessments aimed at identifying how we can best enable people to be as mobile and connected as they would like to be. The Project working would also coordinate and undertake exercise delivery throughout Roar and work in our footcare service. This opportunity will provide you with training, support and mentoring and will be a chance to gain skills and experience that can benefit both your personal and professional life.

By joining the team at Roar – Connections for Life you will be helping to enable older people to keep active, avoid falls and stay independent.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of three years relevant experience preferably within the health and social care sector, with a good understanding of how it links with the wider voluntary, private enterprise and community sectors.

Please read the job description for more information on the role and for how to apply.
