Scotia Homecare Solutions are seeking Special people to apply for the position of Community Healthcare Assistant. Working closely with ladies and gentlemen in their own homes you will be required to travel extensively throughout the Stirlingshire region.

Due to the nature of the role, and the coverage required across the Inverclyde region, candidates MUST be able to travel therefore the use of a car is preferred. Mileage is paid.

Purpose of the role:

To provide personal care and support to Ladies and Gentlemen in their own homes in line with the agreed care and support plan and to work in partnership with family members and friends to support and contribute to individual wellbeing.

Principle responsibilities:

In line with each individual's care plan, you will be required to provide specific duties including:

  • Assisting with activities of daily living, eg: Getting out of bed, washing, bathing, dressing, Intimate care
  • Assisting with mobility including utilising hoists, stand aids slide sheets
  • Promote prescribed medication ( as specific to their care plan)
  • Meal preparation, cooking and assisting with feeding
  • General cleaning duties including changing beds, laundry, tidying rooms etc
  • Contribute to specialised care plans, completing reports and ensuring all documentation is following and accurate recording is maintained
  • comply with all legislation and companywide policies and guidelines at all times
