SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health) is a charity working across Scotland. Every year, we provide over a million hours of support to people who need our help. Every week, we work with around 3,000 individuals in over 60 services. Every day, we campaign for better mental health for the people of Scotland.

For Scotland’s Mental Health
Post: Individual Placement and Support (IPS) Specialist x 2
Salary: £23,650 to £26,993 per year (Salary Point 25 – 29)
Hours: 37.5 per week
Contract: Fixed term to 31/03/2023, with possibility to extend
Working closely with all mental health services including Child and Adolescent primary, secondary and youth health services, you will work with a range of 16-24 year olds
using mental health services, employers and professional networks to secure employment for the young people.
You will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of best practice in mental health provision and/or in the provision of employability and employment services. For the IPS role, a working knowledge of IPS in particular would be an advantage, but full IPS training will be provided.
We are looking for initiative, creativity, energy and determination and the ability to motivate, develop and inspire individuals to develop their self-confidence and realise their aspirations. You will be a self-starter, thrive in a multi-agency setting and have an appetite to promote this innovative approach.
As this post will involve travel across Glasgow a full driving licence and access to your own transport is essential.
