Scottish Autism seeks to promote and provide care, education, support and opportunities for people with autism of all ages throughout Scotland. We work tirelessly to create a world where autistic people are understood and enabled to lead meaningful, fulfilling and happy lives as valued members of the community.

A key expectation of everyone who works for Scottish Autism is that they live and breathe our values; Collaboration, Change Makers, Compassion and Contribution. Our values come into play throughout everything we do at work – how we work together, and how we deliver services to the people we support and to the people we work alongside.

We have an exciting opportunity for an Income Generation Partner to join our team. You will assist the Income Generation Lead to develop and implement the income generation strategy, stewarding donors and generating income from key funders, partnerships, projects and events

In this role you will:

· Develop new and existing relationships and partnerships with businesses, foundations and grant-makers

· Develop and steward corporate partners and key supporters

· Identify and research income development opportunities for training and consultancy services

· Work with the Marketing and Communications Team on internal and external marketing activity, maximising opportunities to publicise the name and work of Scottish Autism

· Identify marketing opportunities to drive fundraising and income development

The successful candidate will:

  • Be committed to and demonstrate our organisational values
  • Have the ability to work collaboratively across the organisation and with external partners
  • Have excellent interpersonal and communication skills and be able to influence
  • Be self-driven, proactive, self-motivated and goal-orientated
  • Have strong customer service/relationship management skills and be able to present effectively
  • Be flexible to step up and take on additional coordination or overseeing specific income streams when required

You will be educated to at least Higher level and ideally have fundraising experience, including trusts, foundations and corporate fundraising, plus account management experience. However transferrable skills will also be considered

Scottish Autism offers you:

  • 32 days holiday (which increases with your length of service)
  • Non-contributory life assurance scheme
  • Workplace Pension
  • Discounts at high street retailers, travel and gyms
