Who are Thera Group?

What does a Team Coordinator do?

The role of a Team Coordinator is to manage our team of Support Workers, set objectives and provide hands on support for people with a learning disability.

They need to be an example of best practice as well as assist in creating rotas and developing effective support plans. Supporting someone with a learning disability isn’t just personal care; it’s so much more.

Support could be taking people supported swimming, going out on shopping trips, days out, visiting social clubs or trips to the beach.

They could support with day to day necessities such as cooking, helping to administer the right medication, personal care, and actively seek to introduce new choices.

What experience do I need?

You’ll need to have great communication skills and be highly organised.

A good level of English and Math is required, and we would like you to have managed a team before.

Experience in the care industry is a strong advantage as well as knowledge of Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
