Job Purpose
Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active and socially connected lives, supporting people to achieve the things that matter to them.
Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Job Details
We are looking for a female* Personal Assistant to join an existing team to support a lady who lives in Leith. She requires support 7 days a week between 9 am and 7 pm. This position is for 16 hours per week.
This position does require a clean driving license.
*Exemption under Equality Act 2010

Support required and attributes of team members
Support needs are:
- To help with daily personal care needs
- Assistance transferring to and from wheelchair
- Getting out and about in her car, therefore it is important to be a confident driver.
- It is important to have excellent communication skills, be a good listener and be flexible team player.
- Most of all, a likeminded team member who enjoys a laugh, loves animals and have similar personal characteristics and hobbies and interests.
