Female* Personal Assistant (Support Worker)

Our Personal Assistants support people to lead full, active and socially connected lives, supporting people to achieve the things that matter to them.

Applicants should have, or be willing to work towards, a qualification meeting the standards required for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).

Job Details

We are looking for a female* Personal Assistant to join our expanding team for a very bubbly lady who resides in the Merchiston area of Edinburgh.

This position is for 25 hours per week.

About this opportunity

This lady lives with Chrohns disease and has a learning disability.

We support her to live independently in her own home, supporting with all aspects of daily living. This lady is talkative and good fun! She enjoys dancing, cooking and loves to shop! She has a keen interest in movies especially Disney and with support enjoys to take in the scenery of Edinburgh whilst walking, quite often with a pit stop for a coffee and some lunch. House work, cleanliness and presentation are also a big part of her life, as is socialising with friends and her neighbours.

Shift times are undertaken between the hours of 10 am until 5 pm over a 7-day period with a shift pattern of 2 days per week. This is worked out on a rota basis within the team.
