Are you customer focused? Do you want to make a real difference to the lives of older people? Are you passionate and committed to making lives better? Does this sound like you? If so, DGHP is looking for you to join our team.

DGHP, part of Wheatley Group, Scotland’s leading housing, care, and property-management group, is currently looking for an enthusiastic and caring Visiting Officer to join the sheltered housing team.

At Wheatley Group, our “Think Yes” culture empowers staff to make decisions and provide personalised services for our customers, at the first point of contact. This approach drives exceptional customer service and levels of customer satisfaction across Group, resulting in national and international recognition.

The primary role of the Visiting Officer is to check on the wellbeing of residents living in DGHP sheltered housing developments. Welfare checks will be done via the care call system; via telephone or by visiting the person in their home. Frequency of welfare checks will be based on individual needs. Visiting Officers will promote and encourage independence; will provide housing support where required; and will liaise appropriately with families and other agencies regarding the welfare of the individual.

You are required to have a driving license and use of a car. The post is subject to PVG registration.
